CLASSES:                                   

 

Retrievers:             1. Puppy   2. Novice 3. Open

                                                      

Spaniels:                  4. Special Puppy (unclassified)    5. Novice 6. Open

 

Retriever Puppy: Confined to dogs less than 18 months of age on the day of the Test. Kennel Club Ltd Regulation J(G)2.b(3)

Spaniel Special Puppy (unclassified):Confined to Spaniel puppies less than 14 months of age on the day of the Test and not previously been placed First in a Gundog Working Test. Kennel Club Ltd Regulation J(G)2.b(4)

Novice:Confined to dogs which have not gained a place or certificate of merit at a Field Trial, been placed First, Second or Third in an Open Gundog Working Test held in accordance with Kennel Club Rules and Field Trial Regulations. Kennel Club Ltd Regulation J(G)2.b(2)

Open:Open to all dogs of a specified breed or breeds. Kennel Club Ltd Regulation J(G)2.b(1)

 

All dogs must be KC registered and handlers must make themselves aware of the rules which can be found on the Kennel club website under Field Trial ‘J’ regulations

 

JUDGES:                   Retrievers: David Logan, Gary Wood, John Castle and Drew Allan

                                    Spaniels:Alex Coutts and Stuart Dunn

 

ENTRY FEES:          £5 per entry for allclasses for members and non-members.

Entries on the field only but with a completed and signed entry form and the correct entry fee

 

DIRECTIONS:         Gannochy Estate, Glen Esk, Edzell, Angus, DD9 7YN

 

Turn off the A90 on to the B966 to Edzell, go through Edzell and over the River North Esk. Take the first left towards Tarfside and Invermark. Follow the road for approx. 3 miles, turn right in to Auchmull House where you will see signs for the test.

 

REFRESHMENTS:Will be available on site
